Channeled as a pair of paintings in the old masters’ palette, this particular piece actually represents the result. Once the other painting is complete, Blue Ridge Bear Mountain / The Shamanic Path will hang on the right side, representing the culmination of the deep inner child healing, transmutation, integration and transcendence we (I, in partnership with Spirit) are doing as we continue the shamanic path.
Bear Spirit represents the medicine woman, and we see Bear emerging from the clouds as a mountain herself. I read this communication from Spirit as the great, hard and rewarding work we are doing in healing, on the path of self-mastery, expansion, equilibrium, transcendence and transmission. Just as a mountaineer works to climb to the top, the medicine woman works to heal herself so that she may be of service to others.
This painting is also a nod to the Blue Ridge Mountains, where I lived as I connected with my Cherokee roots just over a year ago, which also greatly expanded my healing journey. For all of my challenges and opportunities, I am deeply grateful. I walk this path with love, compassion, acceptance and TRUST in our Beloved Divine.
