Happy New Moon, night before Lunar New Year, fellow light workers and soul path searchers! Just over 18 months ago, I embarked on what is becoming a lifelong journey as a paintbrush for Spirit. Seldom does a day pass where we are not channeling something through water and rainbows. While I know my journey here is only beginning, I’m learning so much already. The biggest lesson in painting with Spirit thus far, which is so very true also in life, is to stay out of the way. Haha, the moment I begin sticking my own ideas into a painting, it goes downhill. So long as I give it up to the flow of the universe and release all expectation, the messages come through with ease. What a beautiful way to embody such a learning lesson!
I never know what I am going to paint when we begin. Most often, it takes many days before I realize what Spirit is showing me, and can gently coax it out further. The first piece in today’s collection is an outlier to this general rule.
Dissolution
This painting. This painting still blows my mind, and we’ve been acquainted now already four days. Spirit guided me to begin this watercolor painting on Saturday morning, with just 15 minutes to spare before I had to run for a session. I intuitively slammed down the first two layers and whisked out the door.
As mentioned above, I have learned that it may be many days before I’m shown what our beloved divine wishes to communicate, and typically takes at least a few. But when I returned home from my appointment, a mere hours later, the image was immediately clear. And I needed only to paint in the highlights of our hero’s face to bring him to life.
In connecting deeply with my most recent shamanic journeys into the direction of East and the answers I received, DISSOLUTION speaks to dissolution of self. Of ego. Of all that no longer serves. And the reintegration with the greater universe. The great consciousness.
