In prayer for this painting, I asked Spirit to channel a portrait of my main guide. She is the one I’ve heard all of my life, coming in through the right side. I’ve even twice experienced her through objective clairaudience, voice clear as a bell, each time from the same “space” in reference to my physical body; to the right of me, about shoulder height, approximately 1.5 feet away. But I wanted to get a glimpse of her. And so we began.
What first appeared was a giant iris bloom, across the whole page. I learned that the iris speaks to clairvoyance and psychic insight, which my guide certainly provides. I was content with this as the portrait. But Spirit guided me to go further, adding another layer of fiery oranges to the piece.
The first face I saw was that of the lion creature, so I began to build him in, when all of a sudden I realized her full portrait—just as I requested in prayer—was coming through! As I began to darken the darks and build her features, I saw the raccoon, elephant and raven emerge.
What a wondrous process, and what a blessing it is to see her face. A pleasure to meet you, Iris. I am so filled with gratitude.
