I’m still reeling from channeling this painting over the course of the past two weeks. We find Crow Spirit Animal, in all her glory as harbinger of transformation, carrying a human heart.
Death. Darkness. Deep heartache. An end of a way of being. And the promise of being reborn anew, with freshly earned wisdom from the experience. The essence of shadow and healing work as only our Beloved Divine could paint through me. I am eternally grateful to be a channel for Spirit.
If this painting were a Tarot card, it would be Death, the Three of Swords and the Ten of Swords, all rolled up into one. Just as Death carries a pink flower in the card, Spirit harkens to the compassion that Death brings by shaping Crow Spirit into a second heart. We are reminded to be gentle with ourselves through our pain and heartache, knowing that rebirth and transformation to new form is assured. After all, it is always darkest before the dawn.

Very powerful painting – the crow is serious – the time for change is here and it starts with changing your heart. To change your heart you have to remove the old which can be painful and frightening but the other side must be a glorious new heart and existence filled with love and joy. Amazing work. Deep.
